Subject: RE: Short season white-cream milo

Kolorado
Pioneer has 89Y79. For some reason they list it for sale in NECO, but not for SWKS. Haven't grow it before, but trying to get a few bags to try on irrigated. Guy won the milo contest with it up in South Dakota breaking 200bu, which is amazing for a short season milo. Appears it's maybe a high yielder, but so so for drought?

Anyways, good luck. Looks like you need to get on the phone and start calling dealers and see what's out there. The Channel Seed splitting back to Channel and NC+ appears to have messed things up for awhile.

Might be worth trying a bag of Pioneer 85Y34 and see if it works for you. And that Alta or Advanta number ADVG 1329, if you could get it, i think would be worth trying. I'm thinking it was/is an experimental number yet?
