South Central MN | I can smoke up a mean steak already without macerating it. I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I've just never had a good tenderized steak. They are always drier and have an odd texture to me.
I didn't know if there were recipes that called for it for some reason. They were amazing in my fajitas, but I'd rather grill a regular steak anytime over tenderized if I'm just eating it as it's own dish.
Didn't mean to hijack the thread, I have a couple tenderized steaks in the freezer due to a butcher miscommunication so I was wondering what to do with them. | |
