Northwest IL Jo Daviess Co | I don't think the corn is there either. Look on Craigslist, FaceB Marketplace, newspaper adds - lots of Cows, Feeders, new calves (300-350 lbs) for sale. The most I have ever seen offered for sale. The feed is not there- the hay from last year in most places was very poor, as there was not enough moisture. There will be shortages of all feed and it will manifest very soon. I am a small player, but I have about 2000 bu corn, which will get me through until harvest. I am down to about 40 tons of corn sileage. Cold winter using it quickly. This report is not even a speed bump. |
