Central Missouri | I don’t look at Usda as the judge. I look at the market as the judge. Basis and futures. That darn price chart is the judge imo.
Usda will always be behind in a demand driven bull because their methodologies don’t allow them much leaway in using forward looking bias. It is always rearward looking. Same thing in extreme weather driven markets such as 2012. The market almost always sniffs out price ahead of Usda. When the market is comfortable like 2016-2019 then Usda has more of a judge personality because of much lower market volatility. Just my thoughts!
To say it a bit different .... the market action will judge Usda.
