If this passes (ie: if the Democrats don’t attach any wildly liberal laws to it) it would add another 1.9 trillion of debt. Bringing COVID spending to a total of 5trillion.
The devil is in the details. Strings will be attached and the hogs will have the gate closed eventually. This is not the first time this has happened and it’s not the last but it makes a guy uneasy all the same.
Surprise, conservatives suddenly get concerned about budget deficits when they aren't in office. Trump only added 7.8 trillion to the deficit during his time in office.
