Subject: RE: continuous soybeans

PROSPECT, TENNESSEE
Continuous soybeans isn't the problem. I have farms that's been in soybeans 10+ years. Yields are steady or increasing. I use a grass/ cereal cover crop, keep PH above 6, apply fertilizer per recommendations, plus a little and use sulfur.
I would try to get fine grind AG lime out asap, I'm not a fan of pelletized lime. Apply Phosphate, Potash, some AMS, with a little elemental S, inoculate my seed and let er' fly this year. Get the soil in good fertility and properly neutralized, use a cover crop for rotation, and bean it on....
