Central Alberta | A hopper bin near here fell over and was demolished. It had been full of water.
The farmer wanted to use well water for spraying, so he got a wet kit for his bin and stuck a garden hose in the top.
When the bin got full, the water ran over the top and softened the ground around the bin. Down it came.
All for the lack of a $15 shutoff valve from the farm store. | |
