I know a few people that just scraped a spot flat.....ZERO base material, just put it on top of the clay. I'm not the one who bought the expensive brand new hopper bins, so I'm not the one to point out any future issues(these are only for grain, but still) Some people don't take advise either, when they have their minds made up.
