Was my thought as well. We usually put down 100-150lbs of 11-52-0, 5 gal of 10-34-0 infurrow and 5 gal of 32 on with the planter, that gets us to sidedress time with the liquid bar, put the balance of our needs on with it. 

Not saying it cant be done, but I would save a trip and do it with the planter, honestly it doesnt slow the planter down that much
