NE Iowa
We started injecting uan for the 2020 growing season. Still use nh3 on some acres as well. Fast 24r22” applicator. Primarily run it on bean stubble that we intend on no-tilling into. Doesn’t have the soil disturbance or erosion effects in our hills that we see with the nh3 bar. We are located two miles from a river terminal that handles uan and has 24/7 loading ability, so that weighed into our decision. Putting Down 38-50 gallon of 32% and run n stinct stabilizer with it. Had the best corn we’ve ever grown on a few of the farms we ran 32% on this last year. Intend on splitting a few fields with nh3 and 32% this year to see if we notice any difference
