2x2/0x2. is a great tool for nutrient management. The only reason it left a lot of Planter's was because of time.
You can run a lot less fertilizer and get the same crop. But it does not replace in furrow and vice versa. Two different fertility programs. In Furrow should be all about getting the seeds germinated and up and running and if you need any protection.
