| I wanted to let evryone know what I have experienced with GPS problems and what I found helps fix it.
I have a 252 with RTK radio tied to a Pro 600, Version 21. Sometimes on start up the Pro 600 shows that I don't have GPS, but if I go to the RDI screen under diagnostics it shows I have D/3D or R3/D if my RTK has a CMR %. Also sometimes on start up the RDI shows I am not picking up my CMR. If the Pro 600 is not showing GPS and you go to the NAV tab the only choice you might see there is Autonomous, Waas or RTK arn't even there for a choice.
What I have found to help this problem is that if it doesn't boot up correctly and give you GPS, is to turn the tractor off to shut down the whole system, go outside and unplug the 252 for about 10 seconds, plug it back in and restart your tractor, and for me it has been coming back on recognizing GPS and then goes to DGPS.
This has happened a few to several times on me and it seems to be fairly consisitant in correcting the problem. | |
