I had same issue and read up on it in Consumer Reports 2 or 3 years ago. The bottom line was some are better than others but after about 20 uses all of them develop stickiness and go downhill from there.

I bit the bullet and spent money on enameled Le Creuset cast iron. Been great long term pan. Less work than cast iron with not quite as good non stickiness as new non-stick pan, but doesn't go downhill either.
