Just outside downtown Prairie Hill | We are currently planting rye with a JD 1780 planter with rye plates. We are wanting to move to a multi species cover crop mix (6-10 ish). I am curious whether this planter would handle a multispecies mix? Lots of seed size variation. Could we use an air delivery system to move the seed to a seed hopper like on a kinze air delivery system without seed seperation? Do we need to move to a kinze box planter or drill box? What is your experience? What works best. Thanks |
