I like to plant winter wheat harvest the wheat then seed it to alfalfa. Seem like if I seed it to how far for the spring we get a big gully washer the day after I seed it not as big of a chance in the summer. Neighbor seeded in the spring and he was fighting weeds all summer my August seeding was mostly clean going into winter. I did have to spray it fo volunteer wheat.
