Thanks for confirming my thoughts, I didn't think the Field I Q would carry the amp draw of the pump and would need some type of "relay" to carry the load.


If you have wires to your pump already, just use a relay, probably cheaper. I think I have 2/0 wire running 100 feet from my tractor to my pump and even according to my research and the pump amp draw, I think I am undersized. I plan on doing the same thing as you. but am going to use a relay.
