Ft. Ripley MN | Where the belts come around in the front the chaff can build up in certain conditions. The rye straw was kind of bad this year and it could be just cause it was a drought. It was short and fluffy. Hay and cornstalks didn’t have a problem. There is a rubber belt that keeps most of the chaff out. It can build up though. I’m not the kind of person to only sell the good points. I will tell you everything right down to the nuts and bolts. I like being honest. With that being said I would still rather have the new holland over the Deere any day of the week. It only built up once and that was in the straw. The rest of the time never had a problem. We bought a Milwaukee leaf blower and blow it off after each use. | |
