I remember that feeling under the hood..... It was a lesson that needed to be learned but it also convinced me I was not going to invest in an instrument rating. I would stick with VFR and fly just for the fun of it.
Flying in soup or with blinders on wasn't for a recreational pilot in my case. LOL
