Ubiquiti has everything run through to your nvr version before running to the cloud for access. In fact the cloud for that setup is for remote access to your cameras. It does also keep a heartbeat on your system to indicate it it running. When you are on your local lan then it direct connects.
(It sounded like you were asking if the cameras go to a server first in the cloud and then come back.j
I'm not concerned so much about privacy, but more about
how I get my video.
On the system we have now it seems that most of
the time there is a time lag when watching traffic
go by. Sometimes its quite bad. Other times it's
not even noticeable.
Just starting to think about upgrading and getting
information.
