As long as you have the larger flow meter, I think you should change to it as your operating flow range should be within its range. If you use the same rig with considerably lower rates at times, the RFM 100 might be better in those low flow situations. If this should be the case, one could use quick couplers on the flow meter so that you could easily switch from one to the other.

I use quick couplers on the flow meter for starter fertilizer on my planter. That way I can easily remove it for cleaning, calibration checks or even to another rig if needed.

The stamped calibration number is for water so it might need to be changed a bit for fertilizer. I haven't found that to be a real problem as I'm not certain what starter rates I should be applying anyway.
