I think he is talking about getting a Trimble 500 monitor with the EZ Steer. It can do some section control that the 250 cannot.

In my opinion Trimble isn’t always the best at choosing names that clearly differentiate their products from one another. Not sure why they named a monitor GFX-750 when they already had a CFX-750.

I was referring to his statement:
"You will be better spending your money on an ez steer. No need for a bar. Not sure if a 250 has lights on the screen, but if not upgrade to a 500."

Call it a bar, monitor, screen, lightbar, or whatever, but you DO NEED one to use gps steering. The OP evidently doesn't have a lot of experience with these, so didn't want him (OP) to think that all he needed was the EZ Steer.
Yup, a 500 will do more, but 250 is cheaper. Depends on what he actually wants it to do for him.
