Grand Rapids, MI | I have Comcast at home and AT&T at my office. I would rate them quite similar in reliability. In the past 5 years of this I can only really remember being down once for each for a short time. That being said, in the 10 years my office has been downtown I have never lost power, even for a second. At home, I have lost power a couple times, and since I don't have a backup generator, I couldn't tell you if the internet service was still live or not.
If you are expecting better service out of Comcast, I am afraid you might be dissapointed. In my dealings I have found Comcast to be fully as bad as AT&T. | |
