You have 2 options. Take a class every year and be guaranteed the license or take a test every 3 years and need to get 70% score. I find it much easier to take the test but they only offer it like twice a year per county. They haven't changed the test in over 20 years. I have the questions memorized and can take it in 15 minutes.
Agree on easier to take test even though the test is an outdated joke.
