SE IL and SW IN | In an effort to diagnose some abdominal discomfort, my Dr, has me keeping a log paying attention to FODMAP (FODMAP stands for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols, which are short-chain carbohydrates (sugars) that the small intestine absorbs poorly.). It seems to be working. I never heard of this until last week, but it fits with the low carb diet.
Does anyone have experience?
