East Central, Nebraska | your right about everything you said. i just took one off a sprayer this summer and am selling it in the classifieds. you can do it two ways. you can t into the 440/460 display and only do section control with the ezboom, or you can eliminate the raven display and do full product control. i have tried it both ways but the one i took off this summer was the swath control way. i myself prefered the swath control only way as the 500 isn't all that great to navigate. now if you wanted to do variable rate with the 500 you would obviously need to have full product control with the ezboom/500. if you want to go that route though as i understand it you will need an unlock on the ezguide.
so if you bypass the raven and do it all with the 500 their would be no use for the raven, where if you only do swath control on the 500 then you would still do all your rate control on the raven.
