| I have a Maytag top load set and have not been impressed with the electronics. I replaced a faulty computer board for $200 last year and just here a week or two ago had the replacement board act up. I got kind of lucky finding a tip online to clean the contacts on the board so I drilled out the plastic heat pressed rivet studs and wiped the board contacts with acetone. I did note a coup had some cloudy, smoky residue so that must have been enough to do it. Probably would have fixed the old one just the same but that ship sailed.
Does anyone get along with Samsung or LG stuff? Was thinking of buying a new set while this Maytag set was maybe still worth something as a working pair. | |
