It would depend on how much work you have to do. I'm planning on spraying 12 40x500ft chicken houses, a couple barns, my home, plus possibly 8 50x600ft chicken houses if I decide to build them. With that amount of work it's a no-brainer to do it myself.

Last time I got a quote the rig itself was just under $50k. This rig was built by a decent sized company who had a shop outside of Waco. I told them what I would be spraying and they gave me a price on the type of rig that would be best suited for the job. They would also send up a guy to teach me how to use it and maintain everything. They also sell the foam barrels.

I got a quote to spray foam 2 inches of closed cell in 6 of my chicken houses and the cost was just over $100k if I remember right.

I figured I would do it myself and sell the rig when I'm finished or spin it off into a side business and let a family member run it.
