Bardstown, Ky | Years ago I was helping a friend get some spraying done. We both had 60' booms. He had a 400 gal tank and I had a 500 gal tank. I started timing us and while I don't recall the numbers, I do recall that fill times and spray times were nearly the same but I was getting over 10 more acres with every load. This was 20 years ago and the sprayers were small, but the math would be similar with today's sprayers. I go with bigger tank if I have to choose between the two. | |
