| I cultivated with a 3388 for toooooo many years. My left shoulder hurts just thinking about it. The first thing you need to do is put anti-sway bars in the 3 point hitch to eliminate 99% side to side movement of the bottom 3 pt hitch arms. I tried a Navigator (it's been a long time ago) and while it was nice when it worked, I left a lot of black spots where it didn't. The 3788 is about the worst fat pig of a tractor to try to cultivate with as you could find. It's simply not what it's made for. Kinda like being mad at the elephant because it's big and grey. The best thing I did was go from the 3388 to a JD 8300. It was like dying and going to heaven. | |
