Subject: Leaving tractor plugged in?

Anyone leave their tractor plugged in all winter? Normally either put on a timer or plug in before breakfast and it's warm by the time work starts. Our road drifts bad in the winter, and we're the first place. Lot's of older neighbors with varying health problems, so we get called if ems needs to get somewhere. I would like to keep one ready at all times if it won't hurt the block heater. Any reason not to do this? Old 30-40 series Deere.
