West TN | I am looking for ag management software. I am new to precision ag and have a green sprayer and red combine with greenstar and a green cotton picker with ag leader so i need to read data from these sources. I need to be able to create as applied maps and yield maps along with creating prescriptions for variable rate fertilizer, lime, spraying, and planting based on yield maps, soil tests, etc. My main concern is it being user friendly as I want to spend more time in the field than in front of the computer cussing it. Support is also a key factor. I would prefer it to cost less than a thousand. I am currently demoing mapshots and have had mixed results. I don't have any yield maps yet, just as applied maps from the sprayer, I am happy with it when it works right, but it is a bear when i screw up. Also been having problems with error codes. Do I need to stick with it or are there better options out there such as sms? | |
