North West IA/western AZ | I was told by no till expert David Moeller to put the planter on the ground, use a scale that will measure ounces, and set the adjustent screw for 1 ounce of down pressure. I bought a cheap postage scale which works great.
Last year it seemed like mine were balling up until I backed the pressure off to 1 ounce. Variables being what they are, I can't say now that it didn't dry some too. | |
