Previously, I drew blood from under the tail but this was challenging with newborn calves. They squirm too much when I'm working by myself. Blood draws work fine at the chute.
I will get some experience with TCU at the chute on weaned bulls and maybe replacements. That work should set me up to get tissue samples from Newborn calves. | |
