That reminds me of one of our local Amish. For a while he would come and get down cows at the salebarn and butcher them. One cow was dead and getting stiff. That was pointed out; he said "she hasn't been dead very long" and went ahead. That is when I told my wife it was time to stop buying corned beef at his brothers store.
