sc ia | I've got a 2003 8550S with 7300hours on it. The acre counter shows 67,000 acres. It's got it's third head on it as 3,000 hours might be the average life expectancy of a head. One thing I see looking at them on the web, is the frame can fail about where the front of the engine is. Also the rear axles have been repaired on a lot of them. They bend or break where they extend from the center housing of the axle. Try to find one that's been well taken care of regardless of the hours. I've only had mine for a little over 3 years. | |
