As you said, you have your bin sheets that already do what you want them to do.
So, all you need is to create a Bin Master tab.
And then pull the information from your sheets into the Bin Master.
I used Excel 2007
.
Bin information from: https://cropwatch.unl.edu/2017/grain-bin-volume-calculator
.
I Worked it as dko_scOH mentioned using conditional formatting.
.
In my example:
.
- tab - Bin Master
I locked it so nothing could be changed, but you can still see the formulas.
The information on the Master, is pulled from the individual bin tabs.
I did not password protect it, so you can unlock it if you need to.
To unprotect the tab, right click on the tab and select unprotect.
I split each bin silo into 4 sections.
.
- tab - Bin Master copy is not locked.
Here, you can see how the conditional formatting is set up.
Select a bin silo block, then select conditional formatting, then select manage rules.
.
- tab - all the bin tabs are generic, because you will use your own.
I used the same size bin for bin 1 - 5 so you could see how the bin filling changes on the Master.
I changed the size of bin 6 so you could see how changing the Max Bushels or Current bushels on any tab, will change the Master Bin tab.
.
Yes, it can use more tweaking.
.
Good Luck
