Subject: try again :)

Floyd County, Iowa
Bob,
All of the information on the Bin Master tab is pulled from each Bin tab.
.
To change bin information:
1) go to the tab of the bin you want to change (tab Bin 1 through tab Bin 12), I went to tab Bin 1
2) change the max bushels to the max bushels of your bin, I changed it to 80,000
3) change the Current bushels to what is currently in your bin, I changed it to 20,000
.
I'll up laod the file again with my changes saved, so you can see what I changed.
Remember, I did not make any changes to the Bin Master tab.
I made my changes to the Bin 1 tab.
.
Now when you go back to the Bin Master tab you can see where the changes were auto calculated.
Look at the red box under Bin 1, E5, it shows the number 80000
Now, click on the red box, E5. This will show the formula of that cell. ='Bin 1'!D6
Which means, it is pulling its information from the tab Bin 1 and from cell D6
.
I created this, just to show the original thread creator, ajblair, how to make a Bin Master tab
Then he could pull the information from his original bin tracking sheet into the Bin Master tab.
.
The you tube video link posted by CentralIA, is a really nice way to learn how.
.
You can always download another copy if something goes wrong.
So, play around with it and change things.
.
Have a good day
