Thanks. I've got all that down. This isn't my first go around with alfalfa. Its just that my record keeping over the years sucks. Probably been baling for close to 40 years. Feed it all to my own cattle so didn't keep track of bales per acre that well.

I agree rainfall makes all the difference here. I think we are around 23" average rainfall per year. Sometimes much less.

We can sometimes get 5 cuttings here
