coast of Maine
My cousin is directly tied to the fox and mink farms in Finland.Prices were in the gutter 10 months ago.Not now. They are testing but none with covid in his area.Mink are very susceptible to wrong diet,no bad meat only good fish meal etc. Many mink farms also raise fox,fox food consists of mink carcasses and fox carcasses,it is 100 % for fox recycled meat.Fox eat fox and mink,,mink only the virgin products. He supplies the food with two semis, some farms use 90,000 lbs of fox food a DAY.More as they reach maturity which is in the next two months. The sound in the pens is of a barn full of monkeys.Sounds cruel but those foxes would live just a day in the wild.Completely domesticated and even different shaped snouts and legs.Pelts are huge .Breading for 5 different colored fur also. Why wild fox get a pass now.
