Not to change the subject, but we're doing the same this week and using two hose clamps at each joint. Do they make anything better than using hose clamps? I'm thinking something similar to a pex crimp. Currently working with 1" and 1 1/4" blue pipe
Never had an issue using hose clamps as long as they're entirely stainless. Had some that were stamped stainless, but the worm gear wasn't. My dad also used to coat the clamps with roofing tar and wrap electrical tape around them to seal out the moisture. |
