I see they have a wrap to cover brass couplers with to prevent soil contact corrosion here.I have had two in the last three years fail due to pitting of the brass,one even still had the price tag ,,(legible)and the brass was junk,,they dont make brass like they used to ,i guess.Maybe the melted down wire connectors they make it out of in China.
