Straight roads aren't much fun on a bike, particularly a 600cc sports bike.

There's not much fun to be had in this part of the UK, however continental Europe is 90 minutes away. I've ridden to the Black Forest, done a lap of France including riding over the Millau Bridge, the Dolomite Mountains in Italy, Stelvio Pass a couple of times, Timmelsjoch Pass, the national park where they filmed the snow scene in James Bond Spectre and some other places. I did all that with my brother, but he sold his bike and now have to do the European trips in the car because my girlfriend doesn't have a bike license and mine isn;t any good for passengers!
