Your Ca and Mg are low to medium, the limestone will help that. Forget about if it is high-Cal lime or not you need the Mg too. Not surprising that Ca-Mg-K levels are low given the history of the ground and the lower CEC. The other poster is correct that your desired K levels should be 100 ppm (200 lbs/acre). Lime now, potash now or in the spring, if budget is tight no less than crop removal K-rate for soybeans. Yes phosphorus too but pH and K are your elephants in the room. | |
