NEMO | I think they may interchange, but all 800 and later planters had 8 row drums, and some of the 400 models had less rows.
We had trouble with double planting for years. Then we finally fuund some drums with smaller cells and holes.
An immediate cure. I think they are called E- pocket. Along with that we have less cutoff wheel bounce.
We also tried those strips back in the 80s Smoothed the bounce, but no help for doubles, triples.
Our original drum had rediculously large cells that would hold up to 3 of some of the tiny seeds that we get sometimes.
That may be part of why some producers gave up on their Cyclo planters.
