EC Indiana | No it is stopped. These strips go around the drum - my (old IH) dealer found them for me. I no longer have the planter (or the books) but I think they were for a special corn, maybe butterfly (?) type kernals? I don't know, that sounds crazy in print but I do remember the strips were used for a special type of seed that was long and slender. The strips kept the wheels from breaking off the ends of the kernals because they stuck through the holes too far. Don't know if dealers can still get them - but that drum couldn't be any smoother. Book referred to them as "seed belts". They were adhesive-backed and just stuck to the drum.<br />
