They'll do just as well or better. Snaplage is not that far behind whole corn in energy. Your intakes will be better as well as the utilization with the built in fiber. We plant 7-10 day longer corn for high moisture corn. This is running 20+ bpa better than our drying corn. You don't need choppers and wagons etc to make snaplage all you need is a phone to call the custom guy. Snaplage vs shelled corn will gain enough feed to pay for the harvesting and bagging/storage costs. You wouldn't even need a mixer wagon to feed it. Make a bag/pile by the shed and feed it by the skidloader bucket and topdress the ddg with 5 gallon buckets.

You can always add some cracked corn to heat it up a bit.
