Neighbor who does my combining also has chopper so that wouldnt matter much. I am far enough north that my longest day corn is usually 92 day and most years still end up hauling it to get dried then hauled back which ads up I also usually end up paying storage on some . When i did talk to the nutritionist about rations he did figure we would ad some shell corn to the ration. I have not completely made up my mind just trying to Do some research as to what works well for others and what will be most profitable Me. My current plan is to have the feed pad directly in front of the shed.
