I have a problem of that sort from the opposite direction. My stupid phone keeps telling me I have a voicemail even when I do not. I'll call it and nothing there. So out of frustration I shut off the notification for voicemail because I got tired of hearing the "ding" telling me I had a voicemail even when I didn't. So now I forget to check the voice mail box and sometimes for a day or two. So if you left me a voice mail I might be one of the culprits. I have went on line and tried various fixes to get rid of the false notifications. Nothing worked. Took it to US Cellular and the tech did some magic and got rid of it. Fixed it for about a half day and it was back. I think they got a bug in their software because if a person does a search about the problem will get lots of hits. Anyway, my rant about my stupid phone (or perhaps stupid operator, jury still out on that one). John
