Southeast Colorado | I tend to agree with him. It kind of reminds me of when wheat went to $20. Mess around with the numbers a little and everyone gets shook up and the price takes off. Local basis takes care of the hand to mouth stuff...............but sometimes I swear we could be 50% higher or lower on price and things wouldn't change that much.
Point is............those govt workers aren't out with their noses to the grindstone making sure what they say is spot on. Can always adjust usage or yields or whatever and keep things in a needed range. They aren't leaving the comfort of any air conditioned office to check what's actually happening at the producer or end user locations. We're all conditioned to it so nothing will change anytime soon. | |
