dvswia - 9/30/2020 06:59 egr and scr plus def is what makes it burn "cleaner". exhaust gases passing through motor oil will leave soot in the oil for the filter to clean out, which has a very limited capacity for that. sad, diesels were the greatest idea ever for internal combustion motors.


CIH engines do not have EGR.
